Vastu Fundamental Rules to be followed while constructing house in a plot:
- The plot or building should be square or rectangle in shape.
- South West should be High &North East portion low.
- More empty space in North & East direction in comparison with South & West directions.

Main Entrance Should be in Positive direction.
1. East facing plot: inclined to north
2. West: Inclined to North
3. North: Inclined to East
4. South: inclined to East -
A plot located at road junctions results in L junction or T Junction.
4 Junctions (North East-East, North East- North, North West- West, South East – South)are considered to be auspicious leading to prosperity.
4 junctions ( South West – West, South West- South, North West – North, South East – East) are considered to be inauspiciousand leading to challenges finance, health& over all well-being -
Staircase for House ( Internal or External)
1. Internal staircase Should be in middleof South orWest.
2. External staircase may be in South East – South, North West – West
3. Internal or External Staircase Never be placed in North-East portion.
4. External staircase should be constructed with cantilever structure and open to sky.
5. Avoid pillars to construct staircase structure.
